ClimAd Bangladesh Foundation is engaging passionate and committed young people from across Bangladesh under its youth volunteer initiative, “Youth Climate Fighter.” The initiative aims to build a nationwide, district-based volunteer network of young people who are interested in climate action, environmental protection, disaster risk reduction, and community resilience.
To join the initiative, interested volunteers are invited to complete an online registration form and provide their basic information, areas of interest, contact details, and a photograph. Following registration and selection, volunteers will become part of the ClimAd Bangladesh Foundation’s Youth Climate Fighter network.
As members of this network, volunteers will have opportunities to participate in and support various climate and environmental programs organized by the Foundation across climate-vulnerable areas of Bangladesh. Their roles may include community awareness activities, youth engagement, environmental campaigns, tree plantation programs, climate resilience initiatives, disaster risk reduction activities, and other field-level programs.
The Youth Climate Fighters will also be engaged in university-based and youth-focused climate programs, where ClimAd Bangladesh Foundation will bring together students and young people to raise awareness, encourage climate action, and promote leadership on environmental and climate issues.
The initiative will gradually establish a district-wise volunteer network across Bangladesh, creating a strong platform for young people to contribute to climate action in their own communities while gaining practical experience in community engagement, environmental initiatives, and climate resilience.
